Cheap Domains & Domain Names

Getting a cheap domain name is a really easy process. We offer discounted .com, .net, .org, and .com.au domain names that are available with any web hosting purchase, or on their own.

If you choose a different domain name registrar there are a few things to look out for.

Your registrar should hopefully have your domain name setup within 24 hours. Because you chose to purchase your domain name from a different provider than your web hosting account (with us), there is an extra step in creating your website. You will need to set your DNS nameserver settings.

One consideration when choosing a domain name registrar is the ease of use of their web site, and their support. We have seen people that have signed up for a cheap domain with a registrar that has a confusing site layout. They were forced to seek outside help because they could not find the correct place to enter the DNS settings of their host. This was compounded by the lack of support on the issue by the registrar.

Because of the way that DNS (Domain Name System) works, technically it really doesn't matter which provider you go to. This is because your visitors will be querying the DNS system as a whole, and not your particular provider, so their connection speed is irrelevant.

In short, you can feel confident that going through a cheaper domain name registrar will result in the same product as the premium registrars. Just be careful to pick one with an easy to navigate web site. You will only have to enter your DNS settings once and have your domain name working perfectly from then on.
