File Manager
I don't like using FTP, do you have a
web-based file manager?
Yes! You require no FTP knowledge because we include a
web-based file manager so you can update your site by simply filling
out a form.
This is an excellent feature for those who are new to
web development and hosting because it is very straightforward and
simple to use compared with FTP.
To access your web-based file manager on a Linux plan
do the following:
- Login to the cPanel control panel included in your
hosting account. The settings are provided in your setup email when you
first order.
- Open the Access Menu by clicking the button at the
top of the page.
- Click on "File Manager" which is the first option on
the Access Menu.
Please remember when you are about to upload your
website, you need to put it in the "public_html" directory. Open that
directory and remove the existing "index.html" file which is our
"holding" page. Upload your site, and you will see it when you enter
your domain name.
Windows plans have their file manager available on the
homepage in their Plesk control panel.
