Perl and Sendmail locations

The locations of Perl and cPanel allow CGI scripts to run. They are as follows:

cPanel:

• Path to Perl: /usr/bin/perl
• Path to Sendmail: /usr/sbin/sendmail
• Home Directory: /home/your_username/

Please remember that to run CGI scripts using Perl, you must set permissions on the files to "755" for them to run. Naturally, they must also be placed in the cgi-bin directory.

For those new to building websites - normal HTML web page files are not required to set "permissions" to work.
