Perl Web Hosting
What is Perl? Does your web hosting support it?
Perl is a programming language that allows webmasters to create dynamic web pages. A dynamic page is one that is displayed using information from a database, or that ustilises special advanced features.
Perl scripts are not allowed on all web hosts, and many offer it only as an extra or on more expensive accounts. With ServerGrade even our smallest packages allow Perl.
Perl CGI scripts (like small programs) run on the server before the page is sent to the website visitor.
Naturally, we support both Perl scripts and its younger cousin language PHP. The locations of Perl and Sendmail are needed to use some Perl features.
