Creating a New Account

Web hosting accounts are very easy to create. The setup is entirely done using the WHM, and takes less than one minute to complete.

Start the setup by entering the WHM. The WHM website address and login details are sent to you when your reseller plan is setup.

Before you can create an account, you need to have created a package for the account. A package is a specific list of features. We have a tutorial on creating a package available.

You will see the following main WHM screen after logging in.

Click on the "Create an account" link on the menu.

Enter the domain name to be hosted, the password, and select a package for the account. The username is created automatically from the domain name. Click the "Create Account" button.

The messages listed indicate the account was setup successfully.

Now that the account has been created you can login to your clients webspace, delegate DNS settings, and use the account as you would any other.
