.ORG.AU .NET.AU .ID.AU and .ASN.AU Now Available - 5.00PM April 22, 2008

In addition to .com.au domain names, we've now added a range of .au domains.

These allow you to choose a domain name that is more suitable for your group, organisation, business, or yourself.

The price for these alternate domain names is $65 per two years, and we've alse added them to our discounted domain name special, or just $35 per two years when ordered with a web hosting account.

Sales Phone Enquiries Now Permanent - 5.00PM April 12, 2006

Here's some great news for our existing and prospective customers regarding our services. We've recently implemented a sales enquiry phone line for clients to ask questions about our services to our sales staff, and it has been deemed a success.

We have therefore decided to make the sales enquiry phone line a permanent offering, and we have extended our hours for this service.

From today, your enquiries related to new accounts, upgrades to existing accounts, reseller accounts, and domain names can be made over the phone every weekday from 10AM until 5PM.

Sales Phone Enquiries Trial - 5.00PM January 13, 2006

Good news. In the past few months we have received numerous requests for taking sales enquiries by phone. We have responded to this with the introduction of a new sales enquiry phone number trial.

From today, your enquiries related to any of the following can be made by phone:

• New accounts
• Upgrades to existing accounts
• Reseller accounts
• Domain Names

The trial will take place until the 31st of February. Depending on the results, it's hoped that this new offering will be made permanent. Support is not available during this trial, but we'll be considering that possibility as well at a later date.

Billing System Improvements - 5.00PM July 5, 2005

ServerGrade has made major changes to our billing system, and we're writing to inform you of these.

Please read through the following information as it may have an impact next time you order a new account with us, or renew your existing account.

Quarterly Billing Available for New Accounts
As you know, ServerGrade has only had yearly web hosting accounts available up until this point because it enables us to reduce billing costs and offer the heavily discounted web hosting plans we do.

With recurring billing now implemented (more info below) we are now pleased to offer quarterly accounts as well.

Quarterly billing allows new clients to experience our servers and support first-hand without committing to full year term. Please note that quarterly billing is limited to credit card purchasers only.

Australian Dollar Plan Prices
ServerGrade caters for both Australian and International customers, and up until now our prices have been based in US dollars to account for this. Naturally, you could pay in either currency or even the other currencies.

We have now set Australian dollars as the base currency, with the estimated US conversion displayed as well. It's only a minor change but we've slightly reduced both our web hosting plan prices, and reseller account prices along with this.

Domain names are now significantly cheaper when purchased with a web hosting account as well, with .com / .net / .org domains just AU$30.00 per year and .com.au domains an incredible AU$65.00 for two years.

Recurring Billing
To keep things easier for our clients, ServerGrade is now moving towards the industry standard of automatic recurring billing of credit cards. This will eliminate the need for you to go out of your way to renew each account manually, while reminder emails still providing warning that your renewal date is approaching.

During the transition all new accounts or renewals paying via credit card will have recurring billing activated. Other forms of payment such as direct deposits, cheques, or money orders, will continue to be on our manual system as normal.

The change does mean that after your account is setup to be paid with a recurring credit card initially, you will need to contact us at least 48 hours prior to your renewal processing if you wish to not renew. Naturally, reminder emails are still sent to make sure you are aware of the pending renewal.

Windows Reseller Plans - 5.00PM July 4, 2005

The popularity of our Windows web hosting plans has also brought demand for Windows reseller options. ServerGrade is proud to now add them to our services.

Windows reseller web hosting plans offer the ability to host client sites that use advanced FrontPage features, ASP, and ASP.NET.

A full Plesk administration control panel allows resellers to manage every aspect of both their own, and client accounts. Your clients are provided with an additional control panel each of their own, allowing them to implement features without contacting you.

Domain Names Available (without web hosting accounts) - 8.00PM March 9, 2005

Domain names can now be ordered directly from our website, without the need to purchase a web hosting account at the same time.

This is beneficial for our clients because it provides an easy solution for securing your domain name as you develop your site, and hosting can be purchased later once you are ready to publish.

Domains bought through our domain name purchasing area can also be parked on your existing web hosting account with us, adding a second domain name to your site.

Windows Web Hosting Plans Available (with ASP & ASP.NET) - 5.30PM February 10, 2005

The popularity of our Linux web hosting services has meant we have had many existing clients asking for Window-based options as well. ServerGrade has responded - and our new Windows plans have arrived!

Windows web hosting allows clients to now host their websites developed using ASP and ASP.NET with us.

Microsoft FrontPage developers can also publish sites knowing that they will have 100% compatibility for FrontPage's advanced features on our servers.

ServerGrade's Windows servers use the highly-popular Windows Server 2003, and come with an Windows XP-style control panel named Plesk for easy web-based administration of their hosting accounts.

Reseller web hosting plans on our Windows servers is also available on request.

Support Centre Launched - 5.00PM January 21, 2005

ServerGrade is proud to announce that first of several new initiatives we have been working on has arrived. Our advanced Support Centre has now officially become available to clients.

We've been hard at work developing a wide range of cPanel flash demos that guide you through your account administration visually, and collating our existing support pages, resulting in a full Support Centre.

The Support Centre not only provides a valuable resource for those who have recently purchased our hosting, it also guides on our more advanced technical features. Being freely available for viewing by our prospective clients offers a taste of how seriously we take our support.

ServerGrade will continue to add cPanel flash demos as we create them, and we are also investigating a new web-based support ticketing system. More details will be available soon.
