Adding a Sub-Domain Redirect in cPanel Flash Tutorial

Sub-Domains by default get their pages from the directory inside the public_html directory with the same name as the Sub-Domain.

While this makes it easy to edit the sub-domains on your web hosting account, it can also make managing your account harder if you have a large number of sub-domains (and therefore directories) that need to be navigated through when you upload.

To assist in redirecting your sub-domains to another page in a different folder, or even a different website all together, cPanel includes this functionality in the sub-domain maintenance area.

The following flash tutorial guides you through Adding a Sub-Domain Redirect in cPanel control panel. ServerGrade also offers a tutorial on removing a sub-domain redirect once one has been created.
